[_] When we communicate, it’s the responsibility of the person sending the message to make sure that it's received and understood.
[_] We need to explain things clearly and simply.
[_] When people can understand, then they can implement.
[_] Too often it’s left to the party receiving the message to figure out what was being said, and what needs to be done.
[_] Just because we're smart enough to know what we’ve said doesn’t mean that the person receiving the message fully understood it.
[_] And when smart people get this one wrong, it can result in failure for both.
